Kudos to Melvin (we think that was the manager's name tonight) for his hard work this evening! Despite the crowds and high demand, we were greeted with a smile and served quickly. It's been a long time since we've received such a warm welcome and excellent service at the Lormont McDonald's. Thank you to him for his professionalism!

Absolutely filthy. Filthy outside. Filthy inside. Fries on the floor, napkins...it's more like a pigsty than a fast-food restaurant. The waiter was very nice.

Despite a minor hiccup I had with a manager named Anaïs at the time, I have to admit that this McDonald's is really good. It's one of the only McDonald's in the area that, in my opinion, is accessible to everyone in terms of price and service. At least, when I compare it to other McDonald's in the region, particularly the ones in Cadaujac (Martillac), Talence, and Pessac, where you can tell everything is about the numbers… They even charge you €0.20 on your card for a sauce… Similarly, in terms of food, they're the only ones who haven't strayed too far from the essence of McDonald's. And I should also mention the staff, 80% of whom are very pleasant and helpful at this McDonald's. Granted, this McDonald's isn't spotless because in fast food, it can't be spotless 24/7. But overall, the McDonald's is very clean, and the reusable dishes are very clean too (which isn't the case in all McDonald's). However, the one major drawback of this McDonald's that absolutely needs to be changed is the lids on the drinks and milkshakes. It's only at this McDonald's that I always spill something on myself because the lid barely stays on the cup. Otherwise, this McDonald's won't disappoint you. And know that this is a very honest opinion, considering I almost came to blows with one of the managers one day (it was many years ago, and I must say she was clearly trying to push me to my limit that day… Instead of calming the situation, she was constantly provoking me). But two intelligent people who have grown and changed cross paths again. And in the end, over the years, we didn't become best friends, but our relationship became cordial again. And that's all we ask for.

Honestly, McDonald's has become a bit of a refuge for me in a world where everything's going haywire. You know, there are days when you need to slow down, to breathe, and strangely enough, it's between two red neon lights and the smell of fries that you find a semblance of inner peace. Yes, it's ironic. Yes, life is strange. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is calibrated like a well-oiled machine: clean, fast, efficient. The staff handles orders with almost surgical precision, like they've figured out the system of life while I'm still struggling with my keys and mismatched socks. The service is quick without feeling rushed. That's what's so great: you can tell it's organized, that everything runs smoothly, that nothing is left to chance. Even during rush hour, they keep things running smoothly. Respect. And as for the food… well, we're not going to pretend we're Michelin-starred food critics. But in its element, McDonald's does exactly what's expected: it's consistent, comforting, and always hits the mark. The hot fries, perfectly salted, that slightly crispy exterior and fluffy interior, it's almost therapeutic. The burger? Always balanced in its chaos: sauce, cheese, meat, everything comes together as if someone had thought about how to make a simple moment incredibly satisfying. The real strength is reliability. You know what you're going to get. No weird surprises. No "hey, today the sandwich is in experimental mode." Nope. It's consistent. And in an era where even Wi-Fi is unreliable, that consistency deserves an award. The spaces are generally clean, well-maintained, and you can settle in comfortably to eat, chat, or just exist for five minutes without the world demanding anything of you. Modern luxury. In short, McDonald’s is not just “fast food”, it’s a minimalist but effective social experience: quick, accessible, consistent, and frankly reassuring in its regularity.
