Burger was fresh and good, fries soft and not cooked enough. Service was super slow: i undertand it was 3:30am at the drive thru but there are not well organized. Lots of drunk ppl around.

I'm giving it 5 stars mainly for the young man's politeness and kindness. I don't know his name, but he was exceptionally friendly in this region where verbal abuse is so common. The food was okay, typical McDonald's. The prices, it's true, are getting ridiculous: €27 for two Maxi Best Of meals. It's not the end of the world, but it's fast food, not fine dining. The place is brand new and the decor is great; it's much more welcoming than it was about 10 years ago.

It's really great to have McDonald's open 24/7 so close to home, but it's still awful that they've stopped serving 95% of your sugary drinks 😭 (but for the head receptionist who served me this Monday, May 4th, 2026 at 5:50 am, the sugar-free Coke tastes like flavored water, not soda 🤣 no blame intended, just an observation!) Anyway, I was very well received, but I'm disappointed by the company's decision regarding sugar-free drinks.

25/06/2026: Slightly off the main tourist streets, typical old-style French bar, which is a complement. The friendliest service we had out of 6 bars/restaurants over 2 days. We just wanted something simple for lunch, an omelette/salade, not on menu, no problem, delicious. Chilled local white wine, perfect. Obviously a “locals” bar too, sat chatting with owner, chewing the fat, exchanging opinions, letting the day go by. If you’re looking for France, you’ll find it here.
