Stylish flea market decoration on the typical Racou site. It’s quiet compared to the hubbub of the Argeles station. Renaud loves his job and the products he offers. Principle of almost zero kilometers with local producers. Rather refined dishes, the amberjack tataki is to die for, the desserts are exquisite. Some will find that it has a bohemian atmosphere, that it is too expensive. But it’s quality and saying it is enough and unique. So. We love it.

Very good!
We came this afternoon, 4 courses 2 desserts a real treat, the food is excellent and the plates just as beautiful. And this Rice Pudding 🤤 a delight!
As for the atmosphere, when you like Racou, you like Menje Ecaille / Bord de Mer chill - Everything we like 🌊

I have visited Racu Plage many times but never before visited this little restaurant.
We started with four different starters.
1. Cucumber salad with fresh cheese and red onion.
2. Dig mackerel.
3. Anchovies with orange.
4. Squash with small clams (Palourdes).
Plus two different main courses.
1. Octopuses.
2. Pork from black-footed pigs.
It turned into six really good and tasty surprises. Delicious from start to finish.
Can absolutely be recommended as a very exciting place to eat.

Good food but overpriced .
This is a typical “ we are laid back and a bit bohemian “ style restaurant for this part of France .
It is charming and service is excellent but also means the staff drop in and out for a smoke when they feel like it and consequently one can smell it - not so charming
The menu is original and products fresh but nothing exceptional and definitely too expensive for what is served
6 euros for a glass of house wine !
We go to regional wine tasting sessions regularly and this is definitely too much

Oops ! I took a shot at the cash register.
Yes, it’s based on local products and it’s good, no worries for your figure, the portions are minimalist! Like three small pieces of monkfish (one CaS each) with a teaspoon of puree for €31 it's not correct. That's good, but not enough for this price, sitting on a plastic chair without a jug of water at 30 degrees… disappointment for me, perhaps the evening of the RAC O Jazz festival the card prices were flown away?
