Mercure Hotel sur Vannes

Comfortable, peaceful, close to Belle-Île-en-Mer by boat, perfect breakfast. Nothing to complain about, just highly recommended! 👍

Nice, quiet hotel, not far from the center of Vannes. Plenty of free parking spaces in addition to the hotel's paid parking.

Good size room but the hotel is aging and very short staffed

Short walk to the port for the ferry crossing to Bell Île. Friendly welcome. Large rooms, unfortunately a bit dated. Apparently, we were given an older room. The restaurant was closed on Mondays.

Overall, a good stay at the Mercure Vannes Le Port. The room was clean, the bedding was really excellent, no complaints about the comfort. One small drawback: no bottled water in the room, which is a shame for a hotel of this category. We had booked paid parking, but it turned out not to be necessary: ​​there's a large free parking lot right across the street, more than enough. The biggest negative for us: the €20 breakfast. We always have breakfast in hotels, but not here, definitely not. At that price, you really feel like you're being ripped off… so we skipped it. In short: a comfortable and clean hotel, but beware of the extras that are a bit overpriced. In the end, it's more expensive than lunch or dinner in a restaurant...

The hotel is very well located. The room was spacious and well-oriented. There's a large, secure parking lot. We highly recommend it.
