A great restaurant where the waiter and owners are lovely. We eat here very often. The daily special is €14.50 and changes regularly. Lunch menu is €17.50 for a starter and main course or a main course and dessert. Highly recommended.

The place is also quite spacious and can accommodate a large number of people at once 🪑 Despite this, the quality of service remains impeccable, and the warm atmosphere never fades. Spent a visit to Vaugirard this week, a great little neighborhood spot. The salmon and spinach quiche was absolutely divine, perfectly balanced and delicious. Special mention, and a big thumbs up for the rice pudding, which was truly excellent. As for the service, Brahim was fantastic: very attentive and caring without being intrusive, making the experience even more enjoyable. A simple but effective place, I'll definitely be back! 👍

The tobacconist at 262 Rue de Vaugirard is truly one of the best in the neighborhood. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a clean, well-organized, and pleasant space. The selection of products is very wide: tobacco, magazines, games, as well as many everyday items. What really makes the difference is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They are always welcoming, available, and attentive to customers. Even during peak hours, the service remains quick and efficient. It's a reliable and convenient shop for local residents. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

My name is Nadine De La Tourette, and the waiter named Brahim is the kindest person I've ever known in my 84 years of life, and you'll see why... I've lived in Paris for 64 years now, 42 of them in the 15th arrondissement. I arrived from my native Normandy when I was 20 years old—how time flies...my goodness! About two months ago, I buried my beloved mother, Suzette, who was 102 years old. One of my sisters, Aurore, who came from the Cantal region, came to our house to finalize the funeral arrangements and to be with us during this difficult time. She stayed for a week. One day, during her stay, we were strolling through the streets of the 15th arrondissement, and as we walked, we came across the Vaugirard metro station where there's a park called Square Adolphe Cherioux. We decided to sit on one of the benches to remember our dear mother. As we were leaving the park, I suggested we have some herbal tea on the terrace of a brasserie I'd never been to before. Aurore thought her tea was much too hot for her, so the waiter came back with a small ice bucket so she could adjust the temperature herself. Except this time, Aurore thought her tea was much too cold; she'd added too much ice... and we mentioned it to the waiter. The waiter took her herbal tea to reheat it and returned with a small bowl containing a tiny ice cube. He explained that once it had melted in her cup, she should taste her tea to check the temperature. If necessary, he could return with another small ice cube to adjust the temperature of my sister Aurore's tea. From my perspective, that's what intellectual elegance and business acumen look like, but the story doesn't end there...not by a long shot! When I got home, disaster struck... I realized I'd forgotten my purse, which contained practically all the necessary paperwork for the funeral arrangements, as well as my sister Aurore's return ticket from Paris-Bercy station. I'd taken care of that myself, but worse... my bag also contained personal belongings that had belonged to our dear mother, including her stunning diamond engagement ring, priceless both financially and sentimentally. Some might say, "What was I thinking, carrying that around in my purse?" And they would certainly be right, but perhaps it was also a way for me to feel our dear mother close to us, I don't know... I think I was so distraught by her passing and by the conversation with my sister in the park that I didn't even notice my purse. So I asked Aurore to stay home, and I went back to the brasserie with my heart pounding... Thank God, the waiter immediately noticed I'd forgotten my purse and put it aside. I introduced myself, he introduced himself, and that's when I learned his name. His name is Brahim. He's elegant, a good businessman, and kind—and that's an understatement. Since then, I've come regularly to enjoy a drink with my friends Maud, Bertille, Mathilde, Pierrette, or Clothilde.
