A bakery at the metro exit. A wide selection of traditional pastries, croissants, and pain au chocolat. The bread is very good. The flans and quiches are also good. It's a shame there's no seating inside.

The bread was decent but mass-produced, like the pastries. I wanted to tell the waitress who just served me that NO, I never cut in line and that her accusation was as unjustified as it was hurtful. I didn't say anything because it didn't really matter, and the other customer was just as surprised as I was. I already thought the service was borderline rude, but this was the last straw. You won't be seeing me again.

It's a shame the experience was spoiled by the particularly unpleasant redhead who seemed to prefer being somewhere else. She rolled her eyes and muttered something to her colleague when I simply asked for my bread to be sliced. It's a pity, because the pastries and bread were very good.

An early riser this morning, I decided to settle down on the terrace of this bakery with its breathtaking view of the church. The croissant went down a treat, from my palate to my stomach. The service lives up to the legendary location; the staff are smiling, cheerful, and always ready to help their fellow customers. Come and have your coffee here without hesitation; you'll definitely be back.
