Michel's sur Bordeaux

Great food, poor human decency. Was here last year and had a fantastic meal. This year my girlfriend needed the bathroom while passing and was told she couldn’t use it; that she needed to “think of the paying customers” (for reference, there was one customer waiting, but there was certainly no rush). Businesses have the right to reserve the use of their bathroom for customers, but when there’s no queue, you may as well show some decency. Simply on principle, I will not be coming back.

At first glance, a charming establishment, well located and with friendly staff. However, there is a big downside to the onion soup which is nothing other than a curry broth in which onions have been randomly dipped. Unsurprisingly, we didn’t finish it…

An address not to be missed, always a pleasure to go there. Always very well received, beautiful, generous and succulent cuisine!

Very good restaurant for lunch during the week or at the weekend. It’s nice to have lunch there on the terrace when the weather is nice! The Burger is very good, the Chicken Ribs are tender!!

Location: in the center of the old city, there were a lot of people when we arrived. Inside the cafe: an old establishment, it is clear that the years have taken their toll, everything is very old and at times you can see dust and terrible dust on the walls. The toilet is located right next to the kitchen, the door to the kitchen is always open. Food: not bad, perfect for just a quick snack. We wanted to order two onion soups, but we were told that one would be enough, I do not agree with this, this portion is intended for one, not enough liquid, a lot of puff pastry on top, not enough cheese. The fries were good, but overcooked, the toast had ham with fat, the burger was not bad. Service: normal, nothing extra. Great cafe for a quick snack.

Nice restaurant for a quick lunch. The croque is highly recommended. Friendly staff.
