The room is modest but the food delicious. Fresh, quality and very well crafted products. The textures, from crunchy to creamy, activate the taste buds. The shimmering colors of the plate are also a pleasure to see. Very good advice on wine with a cellar of choice. I gave it 4 because I regretted that the service was a little quick, 3/4 of an hour between the moment we entered and payment (aperitif, starter, main course). The aperitif was not finished before we had our starter and so on. There you go, just give us time to appreciate it and it will be perfect. THANKS

Very good address, tender and high quality meat, possibility of vegetarian dish on request, delicious desserts. Fast and efficient service, the cook came to ensure that we had a good time and it was indeed the case!

A real favorite for the three of us.
Last restaurant with the family before returning from vacation and how to end on a better note.
A friendly family restaurant on a human scale with an outdoor area.
The discovery of a very good Galaad whiskey ex rum barrels.
The best black pudding of my life as a starter, a superb revisit.
My first meat matured for 45 days, simply succulent with several excellent and atypical accompaniments.
A very good gourmet coffee.
A friendly team, the chef even took a few minutes to show my intrigued son around the kitchen. He also moves around the table and I notice it too rarely.
Nothing more to say except keep it up.
Hoping to return to your restaurant one day.

Perhaps the first thing to say about this small restaurant is that it isn't in Plelauff (despite the postal address) but in Gouarec, just over the bridge! So, don't be fooled...
We went there for our first indoor meal since COVID - it was great. My wife and her friend are 'normal' eaters, and I'm a veggie - which can be tricky in France - but we all had excellent meals. They had a trout gravlax starter - mine was asparagus with a poached egg... all had subtle and interesting sauces with them - a feature of the meal as a whole.
For mains, my wife had the fish dish (cod), our friend a steak and I had a chopped up buckwheat crêpe with cheese - that sounds ordinary, but again the great thing was everything was expertly cooked plus the sauces and side vegetables were delicious - a leek dish, cabbage, potatoes, bulgur wheat...
For a sweet course, two of us had the soft chocolate brownie (it wasn't called that) - again excellent - and one had the caramel panna cotta - the only dish which was not quite up to the standard of the rest, being a little heavier than what you'd get in an Italian place.
The wine list was fascinating - not the usual card at all, but all sorts of organic non-sulphite wines. Both the red and white were delicious wines I'd never had before. We took what was left in the bottles with us, as is the custom in this resto. No wastage!
Service was pleasant and helpful, and as it wasn't a busy lunchtime the chef popped out from time to time to ask our opinions of the dishes. Clearly, a very passionate guy.
It is a very relaxed place - not a suit-and tie job.
The three course meals for three plus two bottles of lovely wine came to around 150 euro. Well worth it for foodies, and you can eat for less if you stick to water or a glass of wine each, or skip a course!

Après une randonnée aux alentours, nous avons mangé dans ce restaurant et quelle surprise.. Des plats connus mais arrangés à la façon du cuisinier avec des produits locaux.. Je n'ai jamais mangé une blanquette de veau aussi bonne et originale.. J'ai été bluffé et y reviendrai.. Nous étions 24 et le service excellent (nous avions réservé)
