Excellent food! I encourage you to try it in their courtyard. I recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Condom.

Review updated at the end of summer. I visited in February and had a good experience, but today the restaurant was full and had been refilling tables throughout service. The food service was subpar. This was confirmed by the chocolate profiterole, whose choux pastry was completely tasteless and seemed to have been frozen. Fortunately, the veal dish was generous and well-prepared. For example, the sweetbreads were a complete disaster, extremely overcooked, making this dish a real "cardboard cut"... With completely cold oyster mushrooms, a congealed emulsion, and lukewarm parsnips on the same plate, it was a huge disappointment. It's a shame, the flavors were there, but clearly coming for lunch on this Sunday wasn't the best idea... The best surprise of 2025! Arriving at the restaurant late at night, I hesitated to enter, as its reputation hadn't been great in the past... And if I have one regret, it's not having gone in sooner, as the surprise was so pleasant! Despite a full house and the late hour, we were politely seated and served promptly. The set menu was simply amazing: lobster salad, Caesar chicken, sweet polenta... for under €19! The portions were generous and the flavors perfectly balanced, with a touch of originality. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the pasta was a tad too rich, but hey, I mopped up the plate with my bread... Everything was executed flawlessly: the chicken was cooked to perfection, and the salad dressing was perfectly balanced. It's hard to say more, but I did understand why the restaurant was full... From the very warm welcome from the owners and waitresses, to the quality of the food and the value for money, I can't wait to come back! Hats off to them for transforming a rather uninviting place into a truly excellent restaurant!

I initially hesitated to stop there, but I discovered a lovely room at the back as well as a terrace set back from the road; the service is excellent and the value for money is very satisfactory, I highly recommend it.

What a brasserie! A delightful surprise with the back dining room and the peaceful, shaded terrace. Fresh, simple ingredients, beautifully presented and delicious. Kudos to the chefs! Very pleasant service.

I'm at the restaurant next door. I was craving a great meal... Thanks, neighbor, for being there! I had the eggplant with dried duck breast. Wow... It was exactly what I needed on this beautiful sunny day. The little brother across from me ordered a duck breast, and he told me it was one of the best duck breasts he'd ever had (crispy skin, perfectly cooked). I didn't have dessert, as it would have been a tough day, but the little guy devoured the caramel French toast in 38 seconds flat, even though it's definitely not light. Anyway... Well done, colleague, you treated us!

Arriving late in Condom, we were lucky that Brasserie 1000 Colonnes was open and allowed us to order food (around 10 pm). The prices were a bit high for the portion size, but the quality was definitely there! The duck breast and the octopus were very good. The octopus sauce was truly incredible. The polenta with Parmesan was also very flavorful and left a lasting impression on the palate. It wasn't heavy, but light. We also had two ice cream sundaes for dessert, classics that were perfect for a sweet treat. One small drawback: it was quite hot, so we were seated on the terrace, which is a smoking terrace. If you're not smoking while you eat, it can be unpleasant… We highly recommend this place if you're passing through!

Another great gastronomic experience, a set menu for under €20 (starter, main course, and dessert) with the chef's most original ideas. This is the third time this summer we've had lunch at this restaurant, and each time the menu has been different and surprising. A big thank you to the staff for these wonderful moments, and we'll be back very soon!

It has such good reviews that... I'm starting to suspect a lot of inside information! It's a trendy bar, nothing fancy as a restaurant, where they serve just average food, and the wait is quite long, even though there weren't many people there tonight. Anyway... I'll keep trying for something better in Condom! I hope I have better luck next time.
