Mille et une Feuilles sur La Charite-Sur-Loire

Behind a grand carriage entrance lies the entrance to this truly charming hotel, located on the road to Vézelay. The reception area is at the foot of a magnificent wooden staircase leading to the rooms. Ours overlooked the street, which was very quiet in late November. The room was spotless and furnished with comfortable bedding; the bathroom had a spacious shower, and we slept like babies. To top it all off, the generous breakfast was excellent, and our host was incredibly attentive. A truly excellent place to stay.

Warm welcome. Clean room and comfortable bed. However, there were a few minor drawbacks. Mosquitoes in the room, and I was bitten. It would be a good idea to get screens on the windows because it was hot, and we had to open them. And the window overlooks the street... the bathroom is new, but the macerator toilet isn't great. The toilet is always (in many hotels) in the bathroom, which is a shame. "It's a turn-off."
