Two of us went for dinner last night. The sharing platters were very good (the mussels were delicious and the grilled baby squid was excellent). And the Mona Lisa pizza was really good.
What we didn't like was the waitress's service: she was unfriendly, rude, and seemed angry at the world. Another table next to us said the same thing. The rest of the staff who served us, however, were fantastic.
It's a shame that bad service marred what was otherwise a very good meal.

Honestly, I just ate at this restaurant tonight and had a wonderful time. The staff was incredibly kind, quick, and smiling, and the food was delicious—you can really taste the Italian flavor and expertise. Even the cooks greeted us as we passed by. The decor is stunning, and the restaurant is very clean and pleasant.
There's a real family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I'll definitely be back. Thanks again!

A highly recommended Italian restaurant in Bayonne, in a beautiful location right next to the river. The food was delicious, and it was clear the dishes were well prepared.
We were also lucky enough to get a table by the river without a reservation. The waiters were very attentive and quick, and a bonus was that they spoke perfect Spanish, which made things much easier.
A very pleasant experience, both for the food and the atmosphere and service. We would definitely return!
