Moulin De Jarcy sur Varennes-Jarcy

The Moulin de Jarcy is an exceptional place to celebrate your wedding. Laurence and her team were perfect from start to finish! Even without having tasted the food beforehand, everything was delicious! You can completely trust them with the catering, as with everything else. The plates were generous, colorful, and above all, incredibly tasty! The magic of the Moulin is especially enchanting at night, thanks to the lights that illuminate the exposed stone and beams, as well as the reflections on the water. We were able to decorate everything to our taste, making the place truly ours. A huge thank you to them; I highly recommend this venue!

We had a wonderful time at the Moulin de Jarcy. The venue is truly lovely, especially thanks to its large outdoor terrace, perfect for enjoying sunny days. There's ample parking, which is a real plus, but access can be a little tricky. Remember to turn immediately after the bridge to reach the parking entrance. The dining room and dance floor are rather small, but this actually makes the place very intimate. In my opinion, the Moulin de Jarcy is particularly well-suited for weddings, birthdays, or other celebrations of fewer than 100 people. It's a beautiful setting for hosting a small, intimate event, with a lovely terrace and a welcoming atmosphere.

What a shame that this wonderful place, which I frequented so often in the 70s and 80s, is no longer the restaurant where I spent so many great times with friends. I regret that it's no longer possible to relive those experiences...

Thank you to Laurence and her entire team, who were very professional and attentive, and who took excellent care of organizing my birthday party. The venue is exceptional and very well maintained, and the buffet we chose was excellent and plentiful. Everything was exactly as agreed. I received nothing but compliments from my guests. Bravo! We couldn't give more than 5 stars. Between the majestic venue, the quality of the buffet prepared on-site (with a particular fondness for the ribeye steak!), but above all the warm welcome, the unfailing availability, the thoughtful touches from Laurence and her team, and the excellent atmosphere throughout the evening, we almost wish we could celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary every week! All of this contributed to the success of the evening, a fact confirmed by most of our guests, who were blown away by the result, which far exceeded our expectations. Invited to the vow renewal of a couple of friends (and what friends they are!), we discovered a verdant oasis nestled between Varennes, Epinay, and Périgny... Suddenly, in the hollow of a valley, a timeless, peaceful, and lush place. The stream, surrounded by trees and meadows, is teeming with aquatic plants and home to coots, swans, and barnacle geese... The mill itself is magnificent, with its large open terrace where we could enjoy the cool air while it was sweltering in the surrounding towns, and the staff who welcomed us were incredibly attentive... What more could we ask for? (Did I mention how wonderful the meal was?) We had a superb evening there, absolutely perfect in every way. A huge thank you!
