A must-visit in Bègles!! I was recently passing through the beautiful town of Bègles, and imagine my surprise when I wandered into this municipal swimming pool out of curiosity. It didn't look like much from the outside, but the crowd gathered inside had definitely caught my eye. There were dishes galore, a great atmosphere, and you could eat by weight (0€ per kg). You won't be disappointed by this neighborhood canteen (and I mean it!). Don't miss this institution; it's incredibly authentic, and you'll thank me later. Fellow Bègles residents, this one's for you!

The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, truly! The homemade food is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of dishes and generous portions! Top-notch! 👍 I go several times a year and am never, ever disappointed. I always come back with pleasure. And today, a choir performed. The icing on the cake! 🥰 Eating with real singers... Pure bliss! 🥰

The food was excellent, but the service process needs a complete overhaul. Serving yourself at the buffet is fine, but having to queue twice (once to serve yourself and a second time to pay) is a problem. The buffet is too close to the till, so there's no room to move around; you have to push aside to make way for others. The same goes for the queue location for paying, as the cutlery and bin are located all along the length of the queue, so you have to constantly push aside. It needs to be reviewed, otherwise it's a good concept.

I discovered this place thanks to my cousin who lives in Bègles. We bought our takeaway meals. What a wonderful discovery! The food was excellent; my vegetables and meat were cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. I thoroughly enjoyed it 😋 I hope to be able to go back very soon!

It was very good, I liked what was on my plate. What bothered me was the difficulty of moving between the till, the buffet, and the water fountain... It's a real mess as soon as there are a few people around :)
