At Nguyen-Hoang in Marseille, I had the best Vietnamese food I've ever tasted. It's a sincere place, with an authentic atmosphere and a very sweet older woman serving tables, making everything even more welcoming. The place is very popular, but there are plenty of tables and it's easy to find a seat. The prices are really good and the portions are generous, making it the perfect place for those who want to eat well without breaking the bank.

Very friendly, very good. A crazy line at lunchtime on weekdays. A bit pushed towards the exit by the very friendly waiters.

Despite the crowds, we found a table for five inside. The service was fast and efficient, and the food was good, although my portion was a bit small. The waitress was flexible with card payments (minimum €15). The atmosphere is friendly, but I'm still a little puzzled by the frequent wait to get in.

A Vietnamese restaurant that's unassuming. Open from 12:00 p.m. and quickly becomes crowded with regulars and passersby. The food is prepared by the aunties in a pleasant atmosphere with aromas that encourage you to discover all the Vietnamese dishes. - Very simple pho (not much meat) without bean sprouts: instead, a slice of lettuce. Disappointed, it's not a real pho. On the downside during our visit: we wanted to speak Vietnamese 🇻🇳 with the server to order the dishes we wanted = no, we'll speak French. Please note that it's not a disgrace to speak your native language.
