Nouvelle a d'Asie sur Saint-Junien

We were hesitant to go there after reading the reviews, but we were very pleasantly surprised. We found a clean restaurant, a waitress and waiter who worked hard while remaining perfectly courteous, and home-style cooking with a more than decent buffet for the price. Special mention goes to the spring roll. A minor drawback: the coconut pearls and fruit fritters were lukewarm. But €33 for two set menus, a San Pellegrino, and two coffees—what more could you ask for?

Excellent welcome, great service, and top-quality food and preparation. I go there regularly and am never disappointed.

We hope the food is fresher than the restaurant itself! The (probable) owner shouts constantly and isn't particularly friendly, especially if you don't order drinks. I think very little is homemade, except perhaps the spring rolls, which aren't bad. I definitely don't recommend the sushi, which is clearly prepared well in advance. I've attached a photo of the restrooms, which perfectly illustrates the restaurant's lack of concern for its customers. For example, the servers never apologize or thank you when you let them go first.

Mixed feelings! Okay, but nothing special. Not much choice, especially for dessert.

Spring rolls, shrimp, fried rice, beef with onions, enough for 4 people, all to go. Everyone loved it! Rather dissatisfied yesterday, food was very average and the buffet was running low at 1pm.

We really enjoyed our visit to Nouvelles d'Asie. We were greeted and seated very quickly. The waitress came to take our drink order almost instantly, a little too quickly for our liking; we were barely seated, but that's a personal preference. The all-you-can-eat buffet menu offered a good selection of hot dishes, but not much sushi for those who prefer it. Overall, the dishes chosen were really good, fresh, and of good quality. At €17.90 for the all-you-can-eat buffet, we found it quite reasonable and left generally satisfied.
