04/09/2026: We had already been a few years prior and had been left with a rather negative impression.
We decided to try again this year with our daughters. There was no children's menu, but the owner offered to make us a small dish. We should have asked the price, because in the end we paid 16 euros for a tiny veal patty (less than 100g), a few fries, and two lettuce leaves. So, the price of a children's menu for a small portion... My wife, who was pregnant at the time, asked if it was possible to replace the raw milk cheese in the burger. No. "I'll give you another 5 minutes." The owner eventually came back. Out of frustration, my wife ordered the burger without cheese, but had the audacity to ask for the steak to be well-done.
"It's veal, madam."
"I know, but I'm pregnant, and I'd like it to be well-cooked."
"But it is veal, madam."
Then he abandoned our table and asked another waitress to take our order because he "couldn't."
We hesitated to leave, faced with such disrespect, but the children were hungry and we had already had an aperitif.
The owner didn't come back to see us during the meal, and that was just as well. We did, however, get to enjoy his fawning and his rather crude jokes with his regulars.
The food is quite good, the value for money is just about acceptable (for a bistro, I should add), but the owner's disrespect is unacceptable.

26/08/2026: Excellent dinner, generous portions served by the owner who explained what was on each plate. I highly recommend this place, which deserves to continue because tradition and homemade food are our heritage.

09/09/2026: Friendly service with great flavours. Great vegetarian (cheese) and well-spiced meat lahmajun with a tasty array of sides. We liked the home made lemonade and hibiscus soft drinks as well - recommend!

05/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients and the choice of dishes, which were perfectly executed in terms of both quantity and flavor.
The decor was simple and rustic. The service was also attentive and responsive.
We highly recommend this restaurant.

21/08/2026: Perfect! Refined cuisine, warm welcome, we had a very pleasant time enjoying an excellent meal.
11/08/2026: We had take out so not sure on the atmosphere but we weren't impressed with the food at all. The fried rice was like boil in a bag rice with bits added. Didn’t look remotely fried or taste of anything, and the chicken was boiled to death and was like rubber.

26/08/2026: An excellent pastry shop that we've frequented regularly for several years, but today… wow! 🎩 We ordered a blueberry tart for a birthday and it was absolutely divine! A true marvel, as beautiful as it was delicious.

This artisan is amazing!
The art of making things both delicious and beautiful.
The simple pain au chocolat becomes an incredible gastronomic work of art, as does the apple turnover.
The sorbets and ice creams are also worth the trip! 🫠

23/08/2026: We arrived on a Saturday evening without a reservation, but the waitress still found us a table for two. The burgers were delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly (they even offered us coffee!!! I can't believe it...) and the "western" decor was original. What's more, we were served very quickly.
Thank you to the owner, the chef, and the waitress! I highly recommend it!
12/08/2026: After reading many negative reviews, I finally tried it! And I completely disagree with all those negative comments! A huge congratulations 👏 to the chef and his team! The burgers were perfectly balanced, the burger assembly was flawless, the meat and cooking were top-notch, the fries were simply delicious, you could really taste the beer, and to finish, we had a milkshake! A sumptuous treat in the mouth, light, airy, fresh, and above all, tastes just right! New customers and 2000% satisfied!

28/04/2026: A lovely overnight stay on my birthday. Friendly and welcoming staff. The courtyard-facing room was very quiet, and the breakfast buffet was good.
Great restaurant. Thank you for the thoughtful touch with dessert!

31/08/2026: Small parking lot and the dining room wasn't very big either, a bit cramped, but otherwise we ate well and the food was fresh.
18/08/2026: New to the area, a friend said he had eaten there before but was ill afterwards but decided to try it for myself.
The majority of the dishes were really great and I enjoyed the food but there were 2 dishes that I stopped eating because they were not pleasant and for the last 24 hours ive been ill with food poisoning, which prompted me in writing this review.
I did initially give 2 stars for the majority of dishes but in hindsight, because I have been so ill have decided to reduce down to 1 star - you should not have to play Russian roulette with the dishes you eat - all should be safe to eat!
Note: Since I wrote this review the restaurant was closed for a few months because it failed food hygiene standards and on its re-operning we have seen a much improved quality of the food so i'll up the stars to 3 now - if I could recommend anything it would be to change the dishes being offered because it is a limited offering and you get a little bored if the menu does not change.

Most of the dishes were truly excellent, and I enjoyed the food, but I stopped eating two dishes because they weren't pleasant. Over the past 24 hours, I've been sick with food poisoning, which prompted me to write this review.
I initially gave most of the dishes two stars, but in hindsight, because I was so ill, I've decided to reduce it to one star. You shouldn't have to play Russian roulette with the food you eat—everything should be good to eat!
