Novotel sur La Rochelle

A one-night stay in a quiet setting, just a short walk from the city center and the ocean. The hotel and restaurant are very nice, and we received a very warm welcome.

None of our stays disappointed us. The hotel is expertly managed. All the staff are charming, from the young woman in room service to the long-serving breakfast staff and the very friendly receptionist in Saint-Ouen!

Business trip as a couple. This is our fourth time back and we are just as satisfied as ever. Very friendly staff, spotless rooms, excellent bedding, eco-friendly facilities, secure gated parking. A 15-minute drive from the old port, passing through a free animal park and then along the seafront.

As usual, perfect: large, secure parking lot, attentive staff, room as requested.

A perfect week's stay! The hotel is ideally located for walking everywhere. The parking is a bonus. The reception staff gave excellent advice on nice places to see.

Ideal location within a park. 10 minutes walk to the city centre, free parking, friendly staff. However, please review the cost of breakfast.

The building is starting to show its age and is frankly not attractive. Surrounded by high-rise buildings, the location isn't exactly inspiring, but it does have the huge advantage of being only a 10-minute walk from the Old Port. The availability of a large free parking lot is also a significant plus. The interior, common areas, and rooms are also starting to show their age and are a bit "limited" for a 4-star hotel. Fortunately, the exceptional quality of service and the friendliness of all the staff, including the cat "Croquette," more than make up for this overall disappointment. It's a good place to stay, but it lacks a certain something.
