O Bistro sur Lamotte-Beuvron

A wonderful time for two. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and plentiful.

We came to the Game Faire 2026 and booked all three nights at this restaurant. We had already been last year, and this year it was even better. The cuisine was excellent, the wine recommendations were superb, and the staff who looked after the customers were truly top-notch. As for the dishes, the quality is rigorous and consistent. The foie gras was truly excellent, and the andouillette sausage was beyond words. The hand-cut steak tartare was excellent, the meat incredibly fresh. The chocolate profiteroles were outrageous—they should be illegal, they were so good! The chestnut ice cream was so tempting, you could have had seconds. Throughout the meal, there were such thoughtful touches. How are we going to manage next year?! The chef who came to greet us in the dining room was truly a character. A neat and pleasantly furnished restaurant. Plenty of tables and a few tables in the conservatory. The food is well-presented and very tasty. Worth a repeat visit.

A lovely little meal to end our stay at Center Parcs, which also served as a birthday celebration. From appetizer to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Generous portions with a distinctly homemade feel. The service was friendly and welcoming, culminating in a visit from the chef at the end of the meal. Thank you for this delightful interlude. What a disappointment… the ratings are excellent, the reviews too… I went in without hesitation! The starter and main course were excellent, with fresh and well-prepared ingredients… but the dessert, what a letdown! The profiteroles were incredibly dry, the whipped cream was store-bought, the ice cream was low-quality, the chocolate éclair pastry was completely dry… in short, nothing like the beginning of the meal! Either the pastry chef was sick and it came from Metro, or the pastries were several days old… but I was extremely disappointed!

Excellent restaurant with delicious dishes, fresh ingredients, and great value for money. I highly recommend it.

A restaurant just the way we like them: good ingredients, expertly cooked and prepared dishes, and exceptionally pleasant service. Even our little 3-year-old Rose approved of her meal, and we highly recommend this restaurant if you're ever in the area 👍

The food was very good, and the service was friendly. However, I noticed a slight organizational issue. Even though I was warned there would be a bit of a wait for service, which isn't a big deal when you go to a restaurant, service is provided in order of arrival, which is normal. However, a quick visit to the last arrivals would allow them to take and serve aperitif orders, so we could wait more comfortably. 😉

The food was good and served quickly. The staff was friendly. However, be careful not to look at the owner's dog, as this can annoy the waitresses and spoil the end of your meal. If you come with children, be patient with any traditional conversations they might have with the waitress.
