Excellent! We drove 4 hours from Royan in traffic this Saturday just to eat here, and the rib steak was fantastic! The service was superb! We'll gladly come back.

If you're craving a great rib-eye steak, perfectly cooked, at a fair price, this is the place to be. Add to that a very friendly and helpful host, as well as a waitress, and you'll enjoy an excellent meal. The meat is truly delicious, and they don't even ask you how you'd like it cooked: they do it themselves, and they make it perfect. Compliments. Highly recommended.

A very good restaurant; you have to go for the ribeye steak.
The meat is excellent, and so is the sauce. A very good selection of (local) wines and a very friendly owner!
We'll be back.

I've never eaten there, but I love having a glass (or several) of white wine at the bar when I'm passing through Esvres! Always a very friendly welcome, a kind word! Anyway, when I have the time, I'll have to try that rib-eye steak that everyone raves about!
