O Flaveurs sur Douvaine

2015 I was there in 2015 and the memory is intact. This is one of the three best restaurants I've ever had. For me they found the perfect balance: daily cuisine (surprise menu) with flavors that highlight the products, mastery of textures and perfect quantities. Simple but pleasant and warm room and service. For me it's very positive because I hate pomposity and obsequiousness. To recommend with your eyes closed. It's very far from home but I hope I'll go back one day.

Beautiful setting. In terms of cuisine it was good but we were expecting a little more sophisticated dishes, with more research and a little more surprising tastes. Small downside for the service with a lack of communication, a plate arrived with food that my companion did not eat (despite having said so at the start of the meal), for me this type of error should not occur in a star. Second downside, the price of drinks is extremely high for me, no glass of wine costs less than 20 euros, coffee costs 6.50 euros. In my eyes it's excessive...

We received a gift voucher for a dinner for two. We were quite surprised by the entrance to the restaurant, we didn't have the impression of arriving in a Michelin-starred restaurant with the animal bowls at the entrance, it doesn't look very clean. Then we were seated in the room, decoration very basic and not very modern, the lighting is really very poorly done, the very strong spotlights are directly above the tables which makes the experience a little unpleasant for those who are sensitive to the light. The dishes were plentiful and very good! The only positive point, with the service which was very friendly. The wines and drinks are particularly expensive, we left with €150 worth of drinks together so I don’t drink alcohol. We are happy to have received this gift voucher but will not come back.

Beautiful setting. Very good food but still nothing really surprising or innovative. No promotion of the producer by locating it. Too fast a service for it to be really comfortable. No advice for wine. Very excessive prices: wine by the glass between 19 and 25 euros, coffee from 6 to 11 euros... We leave with the feeling of a broken promise and a quality/price ratio that leaves a taste of " We will not go back"

We spent a very pleasant evening in an intimate setting. Very good meal, special mention for the sommelier who gave us excellent advice on wines. The pastry chef was not left out. Thanks again!

The terrace in the heart of the castle courtyard is very pleasant in the evening. The surprise menus make us discover interesting things that we wouldn't necessarily have chosen from the menu. Good service. For the evening, pleds are available for those who are more chilly ;)

We recommend oh favors! This is the 2nd time we have come to eat there and we always have a warm welcome. Very smiling, welcoming, caring. As well as the delicious cuisine: an explosion of flavor and discoveries from aperitif to dessert. Thank you for the good times and your kindness.
