Ô Gourmet sur Evreux

On the road between Paris and Brittany, an unexpected stop in Évreux led us to discover this bakery. We left with a traditional baguette (5 stars: crispy and soft, perfectly baked), and an excellent pistachio and raspberry Paris-Brest—fragrant, smooth, and well-balanced. We also added an assortment of small oriental pastries, each more delicious than the last. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Évreux. The icing on the cake was the very warm welcome from a passionate and genuinely kind baker.

Pastries tasted yesterday and loved them! A violet éclair to die for, excellent flans (plain and pistachio), and a light and very good three-chocolate cake. The cakes are very generous and not too sweet. Everything was truly excellent. Well done!
