O JARDIN SECRET sur Le Croisic

€38 set lunch menu… fresh produce, certainly, but perhaps a bit pricey for what's on the plate. The waitress wasn't very friendly.

We had a delicious lunch here. The place and service were top-notch. The crème brûlée was... mmmm the best ever! 😋. It was a pleasant experience in its entirety.

Good food. What a shame the waiter loses his smile when you only order one dish.

The restaurant is very good and I recommend it. Having said that, I'll talk about the downsides. The owner is gruff. It's not a big deal, just something to be aware of! The waitress can be unpleasant or completely charming depending on the moment. It's disconcerting! The food is very good, but two things particularly bothered me. 1 - The langoustine platter is a little over €20, which is roughly the price at the port of Le Croisic. However, there are only 5 langoustines on the plate, admittedly a good size, but it's unacceptable for the price. Furthermore, the langoustines were cooked at least a day before. This was confirmed by the taste, and also by the fact that the cook had left the plastic wrap under the plate! 2 - The strawberry pavlova had a good meringue but very few creamy elements and, most importantly, not even the equivalent of a whole strawberry in the entire dessert. Disappointing!

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent, a real treat. Kudos to the chef, and the service was perfect. Thank you for the delicious meal!
