Our absolutely favorite restaurant in a three week trip through France. Chef Bruno is outstanding. High quality food expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Lovely Lydie is a wonderful hostess. We went three times. Need I say more? Don't miss.

During our trip between the Bordeaux and Dordogne region, we booked nice restaurants for dinner everyday. So far, this is the best experience we have had. While the number of courses are not as elaborate or numerous as some fancy Michelin restaurants, Chef Marien clearly mastered the use of local ingredients to create delicious courses that are well balanced and perfectly executed. I think what really stood out was the balance -- not too sweet or salty, the meat in main courses were tender, moist and flavorful. We cleaned every plate in the tasting menu, including the dessert, which was not overpowered with sugar. The host Lydie (chef's wife) was wonderfully welcoming, unpretentious and so kind. She recommended a nice wine to go with our meal, very straightforward, and both my wife and I enjoyed it. We asked her questions about the ingredients and source, and she helped us without hesitation - it means a lot for visitors like us to the region because we are here to discover regional specialties. The service could be a bit faster, but we have experienced similar delays at other establishments with lots more staff. Later on, the family dog came by and sat with each table for a little bit, we really enjoyed the company. Overall, what a great and memorable experience. We would definitely come back when we're in the area again.

Excellent food, excellent service, quality local produce, everything is homemade. Shaded interior terrace near the fountain. We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant which truly knows its craft. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at O'Plaisir des Sens restaurant. The gourmet menu offers excellent value for money: the fresh produce is perfectly showcased by Chef Bruno Marien's creativity and technique, and the dishes are beautifully presented. Madame Marien, who is both the restaurant manager and sommelier, is very welcoming and offers excellent advice. All in all, a superb gourmet evening in a calm and elegant setting, and a very pleasant conversation with Madame Marien.
