Ô saveurs de la Grèce sur Valenciennes

A mixed experience. The food was good, although our gyros was very dry. The young woman who greeted us was rather casual and uninvolved. No smile, and the welcome was very cold. She was wearing a sweatshirt (I don't mean to sound old-fashioned, but appropriate attire would be preferable, especially in a restaurant), dirty glasses were sitting on the bar, and the coffee maker was in a deplorable state. I think she should take better care of it, especially since it's in direct view of customers. A response would have been the least she could do.

Overall it's okay, I just noticed that the meat, compared to usual, was drier and overcooked, even burnt in some places. The fries are good.

What a pleasant surprise! We ordered delivery last night following a recommendation. We ordered a lamb and beef skewer; the meat was excellent, the fries fresh, and the sauces and salads were superb! I highly recommend it. I also want to emphasize the owner's exceptional kindness.

The food is good, but nothing special. You can tell some of the ingredients are frozen, which detracts a bit from the overall authenticity. Sometimes, dishes listed on the menu are also out of stock, which can be a little disappointing. That said, the experience is still decent overall: it's not the best restaurant in Valenciennes, but it's not the worst either. If you're looking for a simple, unpretentious Greek meal, it'll do the trick.
