Flavors of Japan rediscovered in the ginger pork bento. Ramen with a delicate tonkotsu broth, but unfortunately without chachu! A drawback: few toppings and noodles resembling spaghetti.
Another traditional dish to try: Japanese curry.

27/07/2026: Superb brasserie where you receive a very warm welcome and, above all, where the food is excellent, made with fresh ingredients – you can tell right away, even the charcuterie board is perfect. I highly recommend it.
18/07/2026: We come here regularly and are never disappointed. It's a very good place that I recommend, but not so much for getting a table if you go without a reservation. The food is good, the welcome is very friendly, and the setting is pleasant. Plus, there's easy parking right in front, in the car park opposite.

The service is always impeccable, the dishes refined and of high quality. A little bonus that particularly appeals to me as a Lyonnaise at heart: they carry Bobosse products, the only true benchmark in terms of charcuterie!

13/04/2026: Absolutely wonderful little brasserie/bistro just down the road from the Centre Place d’Armes in an old building tucked into a newer residential area.
Tiny little space filled with antiques wooden tables & a daily chalkboard menu - food was true rustic country cooking - cassoulet, filet de porc with frites & salad - simple but very delicious. Good selection of beers to wash it all down with - Honestly the best meal we had the whole week we were in Valenciennes
