The restaurant's cozy atmosphere caught our attention as we walked past, and fortunately, we were able to get a table without a reservation. A charming little place with friendly, cheerful, and proactive staff and delicious food. By chance, we ordered the joue de boeuf braisée with foie gras toast and the house truffle purée, and it was delicious, just like the dessert.

Finally, a wine and cocktail bar with reasonable prices where they make real cocktails. You can go there without hesitation. We loved it. Until next time. And it's not a pretentious bar.

The welcome is warm and friendly; you can feel the desire of the owners and the team to satisfy their customers and provide the best possible service. Fresh, high-quality products, generous and delicious dishes (and the Colombelle... excellent!). Bravo for the decor, the cleanliness, the showroom 😍 and everything else 👔 😍 everything is perfect, right down to your perfume, Madam. Thank you for your welcome, your smile, and your kindness. 08/06/2026: On a weekend trip to Barcelonnette for a hen party, we wanted to find a lively place on Saturday night. Le Choucas was recommended to us by another establishment that couldn't accommodate our party of nine. As for the food, the welcome and service at our table were excellent, although it was a bit of a shame that the dishes were sent out before we had finished our sharing platters. However, all the dishes were delicious, and thank you for being understanding about the noise we made. The atmosphere was perfect; they put on music so we could dance and have a bit of a party for our hen night. We really lucked out, and the service was fantastic. Thank you to the whole team for putting up with nine energetic guys celebrating their friend's last days of single life!
