The restaurant's cozy atmosphere caught our attention as we walked past, and fortunately, we were able to get a table without a reservation. A charming little place with friendly, cheerful, and proactive staff and delicious food. By chance, we ordered the joue de boeuf braisée with foie gras toast and the house truffle purée, and it was delicious, just like the dessert.

Finally, a wine and cocktail bar with reasonable prices where they make real cocktails. You can go there without hesitation. We loved it. Until next time. And it's not a pretentious bar.

This is THE place to go when you're in Barcelonette. The breakfast, main courses, and desserts are excellent; they all smell homemade with quality ingredients. The cocktails are also very good—I highly recommend their signature cocktails! The service is quick and attentive. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about. We've been going there for a few years now, and it's becoming a tradition. Keep up the good work!

O Tandem is the epitome of generous and indulgent cuisine! Delicious, hearty dishes bursting with flavor, and we always opt for the "sharing plates"—it's hard to choose when everything looks so tempting! A convivial and comforting cuisine, perfect for a wonderful time around the table. A real gem, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! A must-try in Barcelonnette. We'll definitely be back!

We had lunch at this restaurant while visiting Barcelonnette. We hadn't booked, but the welcome was very friendly, the service quick and cheerful, and the food was delicious! (We had the set menu with a main course and dessert for €22.) They also had good cocktails. The restaurant is located on the main street, and the shaded terrace is very pleasant at this time of year. I highly recommend this place; it's good value for money, and the service is efficient and friendly!

Excellent service, efficient and friendly staff, original local beers, and as for the food, every dish I saw looked delicious. I opted for a cheese board and a citrus crème brûlée ice cream, both of which were excellent. Highly recommended!

08/06/2026: On a weekend trip to Barcelonnette for a hen party, we wanted to find a lively place on Saturday night. Le Choucas was recommended to us by another establishment that couldn't accommodate our party of nine. As for the food, the welcome and service at our table were excellent, although it was a bit of a shame that the dishes were sent out before we had finished our sharing platters. However, all the dishes were delicious, and thank you for being understanding about the noise we made. The atmosphere was perfect; they put on music so we could dance and have a bit of a party for our hen night. We really lucked out, and the service was fantastic. Thank you to the whole team for putting up with nine energetic guys celebrating their friend's last days of single life!
