O voiles Maubuisson sur Carcans

A lovely spot to sip a drink overlooking the lake with the sunset in the light. We chose to stay for dinner; the mixed platter was very good and generous, and their homemade fries make all the difference. Despite the friendly staff, we weren't keen on the concept of ordering at the bar, bringing the drinks back to the table, and then getting up again to order at the bar. The tables and chairs on the terrace also needed cleaning, as they had ice cream marks left by previous guests. There wasn't enough cutlery and napkins for eating... despite these minor details. We'll definitely come back for a relaxing time, as it's still a pleasant place.

I ordered a sangria that was really bad, tasteless and very bitter. I strongly advise against it.

A very good experience, everything was perfect: the service, the friendliness of the waitress, the food, the presentation, the speed, the location... But it was all ruined in a fraction of a second by the cashier, who was not at all friendly, not smiling, bossy, and addressed us informally even though we're not exactly best friends. What a shame, we ended on such a bad note.

The waitress was excellent and very funny. The apprentice was also very pleasant. The rest of the waiters were all competing to see who could do nothing, with crude and unwelcome flirting and mediocre humor.

So happy! They were the only restaurant that agreed to take me exceptionally at 6:45 pm! Thank you so much for that! (I was with a 7-year-old girl ^^) While the other businesses told me to wait with a carafe of water! They didn't even offer me an aperitif while I waited—a disgrace, I think! I could have waited a bit with a drink, no problem. So, a very positive review for the Carcans Maubuisson lake terrace and the staff's welcome and responsiveness! Absolutely top-notch!!

Fantastic restaurant, warm atmosphere, amazing, friendly, and helpful staff. The food is excellent. The homemade fries are delicious 😋 and what can I say about the burrata salad... all this in an ideal setting, right by the sea ❤️

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Our waiter and the chef were both incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was a very relaxing experience by the lake with lovely background music. 😊 Thank you! We'll definitely be back.
