Try the mafaldine, it's fantastic and made right before your eyes. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, the staff are friendly, cheerful, and full of humor.

There are places where you can have fun. Others where you can eat very well. Then there is O’Bella Ciao where the taste buds flourish as much as the mind.

Modern Italian cuisine with high-quality ingredients on the plate and in the glass. A varied menu and daily specials (often exceptional) that offer a fresh take on classic dishes. Perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends... Reservations are recommended!

I am not sure why this place gets such high ratings. We were there on a Saturday, with a reservation, and were seated in the enclosed addition near the street. So, not much atmosphere there. Maybe inside would have been a better choice, but we were not offered that option. The guy who showed us the large menu tableside was pleasant and friendly; our actual waiter, not so much. We felt very rushed. So much for reservations. The pre-dinner Campari Spritz my wife ordered was the worst she'd ever had. Not much spritz. She ordered the seafood pasta, which I also tasted. It was one of the most expensive choices on the menu. Extremely bland, although the shrimp were good. She didn't finish either. I had pasta carbonara which was OK, although I was expecting fettucini or spaghetti, not rigatoni. Both entrees came out well before we had a chance to 'enjoy' our drinks, way too early. The place had started filling up and a table of 4 was seated next to (almost on top) of us. The metal legs of the chair I was sitting in got entangled with a chair at the next table, it was so close. At this price point, you should expect much more. Altogether an unpleasant and uncomfortable dining experience.

A carbonara so good you'll make up for ever having used cream in it. Smooth, perfectly peppered, with guanciale that was practically king: it silenced the entire table for a good ten minutes. My friend ordered the tagliatelle with ragù and savored it in near-religious silence, which is the highest compliment you can pay a dish. As for the service, a truly memorable moment: we asked for sparkling water, and they brought us still water. When we pointed this out, the waiter replied with utmost seriousness that he had put an entire case of sparkling water in the fridge so we would never run out. Mission accomplished: the shortage was indeed avoided; all that remained was to get the bubbles to the table. Now that's foresight! And his enthusiasm was so infectious that we almost toasted with still water. The chef has a wonderful flair, a unique energy that gives the place its charm. You don't just come here to eat; you come to experience a little show, with pasta playing the starring role. We had a truly fantastic time and left with smiles on our faces and full stomachs. An address to keep close at hand; we'll be back to make sure the case of sparkling wine is still chilled!
