A pleasant surprise during a stopover on our journey. Saturday lunch. A warm welcome and attentive waitresses. Excellent cream of mushroom soup, fresh and delicious buffet. Delighted to find classic dishes like calf's head with gribiche sauce, beef tongue, pork cheeks, sausage rougail... truly excellent. The restrooms are spotless, even at the end of service, a detail that speaks volumes about the establishment. We'll definitely stop by again on our next trip!

A restaurant in Villeneuve-sur-Lot used to be of good quality, offering classic starters with foie gras and salmon as an extra in the evening, traditional homemade dishes, and grilled meats, local cheeses, and classic but well-executed desserts to finish on a sweet note, all all-you-can-eat for €15 at lunchtime. That was before, when it opened. There was a typical price increase to €21.50, but the quality has declined, starting with the "cafeteria-style" starters. The main courses lacked flavor, and the grease masked everything—a real shame. And what about the dessert buffet, which is clearly not homemade but straight from the freezer? Tradition and expertise can't be invented; they are cultivated, and in five years, the restaurant has lost its soul.

We came to the area for a weekend and discovered this restaurant. We ate very well; there was a great selection on the buffet, including starters, main courses, and desserts, and the service was excellent. 👍👏
