It's a great option when everything else is closed. The portions are very generous. The fries are huge! You can't hear yourself speak inside.

Busy bar but well serviced. Good selection of beers as you’d expect. Seems to be the place to go to for a laugh and a chat. Toilets would need more regular servicing though. Only had a few beers but good spot for people watching. Will be back!!

At aperitif time, a great moment to enjoy a beer from a wide selection or a glass of Côtes du Rhône wine! The tapas selection is varied and of good quality. Professional and courteous service. Excellent, professional, and friendly service from Eva. A very pleasant and convivial place in Avignon. A full program of events can be followed on social media. Congratulations to the team of this lovely establishment.

Every time I'm in Avignon, I stop at this bar; I'm a big fan of one cocktail in particular. It's well-located and always has a great atmosphere. I recommend it.

Pub in the city center Good food Just one dish wasn't great, even a bit dry. It happens. We had a great waiter. And from around 10 pm onwards, a great atmosphere and a nice clientele are guaranteed.

La Vieille Fontaine

30/04/2026: Friendly staff and a place where you can feel the old-world vibe. I stayed here without high expectations, but if I come back to Avignon, it is a hotel I would like to stay at again.
29/03/2026: Great hotel! The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. The bedding is very comfortable. Dinner at the bistro was a very pleasant surprise: delicious from start to finish, and excellent value for money. Breakfast was also delicious and offered a wide variety of choices.
