Pain Et Caetera sur Bordeaux

I loved having breakfast at this café. I'm from Costa Rica, and for me, this place was amazing. It's very homey, simple, and authentic, almost like eating at home. I mean, if you go there several times, you see the same satisfied faces. It's frequented by locals, workers from the neighborhood. This place is very unique; I'd say it's not touristy, and that's what I liked most. I went about three or four times for breakfast. I highly recommend it. The prices are great. And it's part of the UNESCO or Port de la Lune circuit, a fantastic historical route in Bordeaux, because it's near one of the churches recommended on the route. The egg and ham sandwiches are delicious. And all the yogurts and fruit compotes are extraordinary.

Excellent sandwich and pastry! Very friendly and helpful. Great location with a nice, shady place in front of the beautiful St Louis church. Such a lovely cafe! I shall return soon!
