Palais d'or sur Saint-Cyr-Au-Mont-D'Or

19/09/2024: Cuisine très raffinée, agrémentée d'herbe variée. Aussi beau à regarder qu'à manger ! J'ai indiqué mon intolérance et tout a été fait pour que je l'oublie.

04/08/2024: I agree with the mixed opinions on the hotel. We came as a family for 2 nights in July 2024. The setting is very beautiful, the welcome is welcoming. We ate well at the restaurant, for dinner and breakfast. On the other hand, room 41... Paint very damaged in places, the bottom of the bathroom door covered in mold, rust on the towel dryer. There is a bathtub for showering but no curtain, so we put them everywhere. Our room had a view of the refreshment bar opposite, so it was overlooked when you got out of the shower. A small curtain would be nice, because the blackout curtain plunges us into darkness once drawn, in broad daylight it is not ideal. The spa experience shower was full of mold. The pool area deserves a parasol, there is none, it's hard for children. To summarize: very pretty setting but quality of the room which is not at the level of the 4 stars advertised. Maybe this is only the case for room 41?
