Pascal Paoli sur Corte

After eight days in Corsica, I finally found a restaurant where the quality/price ratio is more than fair! A three-course Corsican menu for €19.50!! Friendly staff, generous portions, and a beautiful location. I highly recommend it if you're passing through Corte. It may seem a bit touristy, but trust me, the food is good. P.S.: For tripe lovers... definitely worth a try!

This restaurant is very well located in the heart of Corte. They offer a traditional Corsican menu for under €20 and delicious pizzas. Not to mention the warm and professional staff! I highly recommend it.

A very good meal. Some dishes were very typical, like the eggplant gratin and the Corsican burger. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the service was pleasant.

Everything was good, the meat menu was VERY generous. The atmosphere was warm but acceptable (there were sprinklers and fans). Excellent value for money. The salmon pizza was excellent, but a little too oily, really a lot of oil. A liter of water cost €5, which is a bit much, but whatever.

Excellent restaurant in Corte. At first glance, it may seem like a tourist restaurant, but it actually offers several traditional dishes of excellent quality. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The platters of Corsican cured meats and cheeses, as well as the aubergine gratin, are both excellent and plentiful. Good wine selection. Fair prices.

Finally, a restaurant where you can tell there's a real chef in the kitchen. It's been a long time since I've encountered this level of mastery of the basics: impeccable cooking, perfectly blended and balanced sauces, and tender, flavorful braised meats. Everything is just right, without any attempt at overdoing it. It's not haute cuisine, and that's not what it's meant to be. However, it's professional cooking, executed with skill and dedication, which is sadly becoming increasingly rare. You can tell that behind the stoves is someone who knows their craft and respects the ingredients. The service is equally remarkable: efficient, attentive, and perfectly organized. Courses are managed with precision, allowing everyone at the table to enjoy their meal without waiting, even when some order a full menu and others order à la carte. It's true expertise. Special mention goes to the mandarin and limoncello Spritz, delicious and particularly refreshing. And of course, the 50cl carafe of wine: the Corsicans have understood that there's a real demand for this convivial format, where it's still too rare on the mainland. Personally, I discovered a Culombu 2024, a true gem. A truly wonderful place in Corte, where the food is as enjoyable as the service. We will definitely be back.
