The service and atmosphere was perfect, food overall was good, but my fries had bites of cold, like they were frozen.

Le P'Tit Bec

13/08/2026: Evening in Rouen. Dinner for two. A lovely place, chosen because it was also mentioned in the guide (L.P. of Brittany and Normandy). All the dishes were very good (we had Camembert roti, fish, ravioli, and chocolate dessert; wine and water). Very pleasant atmosphere. Excellent vegetarian options, too.
08/08/2026: A delightful experience I would gladly repeat. Excellent service; the waitress spoke French, English, and Spanish—the latter very well, thankfully. She explained the day's menu in Spanish. The food was fantastic. We started with an avocado cream soup with sun-dried tomatoes and a nut crumble. Then I ordered the first course on the menu, which was like a roast beef with roasted potatoes and herb butter. The beef was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, but not bloody. My husband had bluefin tuna marinated in ginger sauce. I don't usually like fish, but this one was so well prepared that it had absolutely no fishy smell or taste. Luckily, I got to try it, and it's something I'd like to try next time. It came with a side of pumpkin and carrot purée and lemon wedges. The tuna is prepared to your liking and doneness. We had cider, and the dessert was also delicious. I ordered a meringue with a scoop of strawberry ice cream—lactose-free, by the way—very important for me since I'm lactose intolerant. Lactose intolerant, my husband ate a cake… delicious too. Thank you so much, this Colombian woman was very happy with your restaurant 😊🙏💛💙❤️ One of the waitresses spoke Spanish, so you don't have to worry if you don't speak French 😃

Café de l'Époque

02/06/2026: After descending from Sainte-Catherine Hill, we were looking for a typical Rouen spot for lunch. Our guardian angels (and the Petit Futé guidebook) guided us perfectly! A unique, wonderful place; everything enchanted and amazed us... Location, welcome, style (Mucha, Klimt!), ambiance, service, music... Real cuisine, a true chef who knows his craft; a truly excellent find. We will definitely return to this magical place. Patrick and Evelyne, Moselle
02/04/2026: Very cozy, you can spend ages admiring the decor. The bartender was very kind, professional, and so pretty 😵‍💫
