We're never disappointed when we go to Gill's bistro! The dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. You can taste the freshness of the food every time. The servers are very friendly, don't change a thing! We'll definitely be back.

At Gill Bistro, the cuisine is refined. The service is perfect and quick. The prices are a bit high, but it's still worth the trip. I recommend it.

The food and staff are top-notch. The ambiance is only 4 stars because the interior is a bit small (risk of chaos on a crowded night), but that's certainly NOT a reason not to go. The food is amazing, the duck is exceptional, and the chocolate dessert is AMAZING!! Highly recommended.

This is exactly what French food should be ! Simple ingredients cooked to perfection, the cote de veau was magnificent, the jus and mushrooms so umami. We’ll be going back.

Went here on first night in Rouen and also our last. Totally different vibe and staff each night, Thursday and Saturday. The food and wine are wonderful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The plat du jours are great value and large portions. Would recommend you book especially at the weekend.

Very noisy. The atmosphere was like a train station cafeteria. The filet mignon was very good but cold. The Caesar salad was basic... The service was rushed and sloppy, the lady was better with the gentleman. Water and wine were placed on the table without being poured, like in a cafeteria... The dessert was good but far too large. Was this to compensate for the poor main course? A shame...

Noisy, standard brasserie atmosphere...quite cold for the evening. The music wasn't appropriate. The food was very classic. The service was minimal; they didn't even serve water or wine. The dessert was too large. The whole place deserved more creativity and originality, or at the very least, flawless execution.

24/09/2026: Everything was perfect! A reasonably priced and generous meal (very good!). The gourmet coffee was a bit pricey, but the chocolate mousse made up for it, unlike the mass-produced madeleine inside. However, over €5.50 for a half-bottle of sparkling water with syrup in a plastic bottle is expensive! Very, very expensive!!!! Having eaten in restaurants regularly, the average price for a gourmet coffee is under eight euros, and a half-bottle of sparkling water is rarely more than four euros. It's a shame, everything was good, but the glass of water was hard to swallow.
22/06/2026: Great atmosphere and a great brasserie. Over time, Denis and Corinne have become dear and caring friends, always smiling and courageous.
