The best Basque cake I've eaten in 40 years!!! (My first time in the Basque Country)... With cream, of course! Melt-in-your-mouth and with a long finish, absolutely perfect! Not just anyone can be a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF)... and with a sense of humor too - a hiker's honor!

A superb spot with a lovely terrace, a very friendly welcome, and delicious Basque cakes! Not to mention the local beers, including the chili-infused one that's unique to the region! Perfect for an afternoon snack after a good hike! We'll be back! 😊

Delicious cake, but the baba chantilly is gone... That's a real shame. Another pastry that disappeared years ago was the beef tongue 👌 a real gem from that era.

An exceptional setting for a break on the terrace during a hike in the area... A wonderful welcome with humor and good cheer, a wide selection of tempting and delicious pastries, including the little Basque cakes ;) A moment of pleasure we'll remember for a long time. Thank you again!
