We were in the area for training and went to this bakery, where we received a very warm welcome and were offered a wide selection of products. The food was delicious, made with fresh ingredients. There's also a terrace for eating in. The woman who served us was very kind. I highly recommend it!

Le Petit Marcel

20/08/2026: I ordered a crêpe with Nutella and it was absolutely delicious. The decoration was very interesting, covered with pictures of famous people named Marcel. The service didn't seem very motivated, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything (just a bad day 😉?). Overall, it was okay.
19/08/2026: A very nice restaurant with an outdoor terrace on a busy but quiet square in the center of Caen. The menu isn't extensive, which is usually a sign of quality, and indeed the dishes are excellent and prepared with originality! The service is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it!

Le Cafe du Theatre

29/08/2026: A very pleasant French brasserie; the owners and servers are super friendly. Relaxed atmosphere at any time of day 😃
12/06/2026: The meal was good overall, but the flank steak was inedible. My plate was sent back to the kitchen without any compensation. No apology or gesture of goodwill.
