Patisserie Maxime sur Haguenau

I had already enjoyed pastries and viennoiseries from Maxime's several times, but this was my first time dining in for lunch. We ordered two salads (a Greek-style salad with marinated vegetables, feta, and chicken, and a pasta salad with avocado, salmon, and shrimp) and a cheesecake to top it all off. Our salads were generously portioned and delicious, as was the dessert. I would have appreciated a few pieces of bread to accompany the salad; I imagine that would be an extra charge? Whether you eat in or take away, Pâtisserie Maxime offers a variety of baked goods and pastries, as well as several savory options (hot and cold) that are sure to delight everyone!

As loyal customers, we ordered a signature yule log which was perfect, and received a very warm welcome despite the crowds.

The pastries are very good, but it's a real pain to come back every time because the waitresses often mix up the prices for eating in and taking away! And of course, their apologies are very weak 🙄, so be careful because it happens regularly, and I'll let you imagine the profit they make at the end of the day!!!

A very pleasant welcome, always with a smile. The pastries are a delight; we go there very regularly. And the brioche with walnuts, almonds, and raisins is a real treat! Well done!
