The sweets are delicious but a little expensive for what they are, I recommend it :)

I don't understand so many negative reviews. We had coffee with milk, good and well served, and Basque cake which, although not the best, is not bad either. They served us quickly even though it was full. It is expensive? Obviously it is not a roadside bar. It is in Biarritz and has a lot of history. It can't be cheap.

A mythical place full of history and something to do

Everything has changed... For more than 40 years I have been going to this place where people came for chocolate and toast, for tea, a pastry but also for the setting, the history and the welcome… today only the…. . chocolate ! It would be good to review the reception as a priority (especially on this Sunday with low traffic), we have the impression of being a bit of a nuisance….. the smile and the customer experience is optional for most of the staff (apart from the young brunette lady and the young brown man with glasses). In fact, we drink our chocolate and get lost, there is no other word! And as also said above, the toilets for an establishment like this are incredibly dirty (dust, smell and dirt of all kinds!!!!). Gas station toilets are now cleaner! In short... everything is changing but today nothing is certain in terms of customers and we see that attendance has dropped significantly whereas a few years ago we were queuing to settle in.. today the places are going wait.
