A pleasure that never gets old! From the welcome to the food and the service, everything is perfect. You feel right at home (even better on sunny days on the terrace/garden), you savor Mathieu's cuisine, always delicious and often original, and the team is friendly and very efficient. I love it! 😊

The place is cozy, the staff are great, and the pastries are amazing.

We ordered two Yule logs, a tarte Tatin and a vanilla and sour cherry. Thank you 🙏 they were excellent, we absolutely loved them. We wish you happy holidays!

Since this local shop gives me three sources of gourmet treats (pastry shop, restaurant, and ice cream parlor), the one I frequent most regularly is undoubtedly the pastry shop, with its seasonal favorites: candied chestnuts, Yule logs, petits fours, galette des rois, and so on. So, on December 24th, I didn't break with tradition, this time buying a three-chocolate Yule log. But if a friend comes to visit during the summer, I immediately offer her an ice cream of her choice, although the lively evening in the back garden remains the most popular among my friends, thanks to the wonderfully relaxed atmosphere that pervades it.

I stand by my statement: our little pleasure is to eat out for lunch often. And tired of the limited choices at establishments that often offer the same dishes on their daily menus, we naturally returned to the excellent restaurant on Rue Principale in Enghien. Chez Paysant Leduc, which, in addition to its regular menu, offers succulent and unusual weekly specials, and of course, a lovely à la carte menu. After an aperitif, we enjoyed a delicious Sangria, a tasty starter: "Perfect Egg of the Week" Main Courses: "Beautiful Pan-Fried Prawns" And a delicious dessert. We had lunch in the very pleasant and relaxing setting of the Verranda. Everything was delicious, superbly cooked, piping hot, and beautifully presented. The service was pleasant, attentive, and always smiling, especially from Grazia. Thank you to the whole team, I highly recommend it. We will definitely return as often as possible!

A legendary place but unfortunately with an aging pastry shop

Second time for me. Okay, it was pretty good, but it took 30 minutes to order and almost as long to get our food. It's too much! Otherwise, we found it quite expensive, despite everything.
