MAISON THILLARD — WHEN EXPERTISE, A HOSPITALITY, AND RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER STILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. After a major disappointment just a few steps away, we clearly needed a sure thing to redeem our day in Le Crotoy. We found it—or rather, rediscovered it—at Maison Thillard. And this isn't a review written on the spur of a first visit: I've been a regular here for several years. Their consistency is undeniable, and that's probably the best indicator of a reliable establishment. The pastries are divine, the sandwiches generous and beautifully presented, the coffees and drinks perfectly served… As for the homemade artisanal ice cream, it alone is worth the trip. Artisan ice cream makers in Le Crotoy since 1987: this is clearly not just a date displayed on a sign, it's a true and enduring expertise. But today, I especially want to talk about what isn't on any map: the human element. Thank you to Louise, Virginie, and Estelle for their warm welcome, their smiles, their helpfulness, and their professionalism. Here, customers are treated with courtesy, consideration, and respect, regardless of their appearance or social status. It seems basic. Yet, some recent experiences remind us that, unfortunately, it's not universal. Settled comfortably on the terrace, we found exactly what we were looking for: excellent products, quality service, and a team that makes you want to come back. Maison Thillard doesn't need to overdo it. It does something much more difficult: it does its job well, and it does it consistently. A serious, professional, gourmet, and truly customer-focused establishment that I now recommend without reservation to everyone who visits the main shopping street in Le Crotoy. We will be back. Charming welcome, ice cream at a more than reasonable price and of good quality. It's rare to find such good things when you see how tourists are treated in some places. Well done.

The waitress was incredibly kind. The ice cream was delicious (special mention to the salted caramel, which reminded us of Krema Batna candies...).

Excellent pastries, the lemon sorbet to go in a pot was perfect. However, I don't understand the coffee-flavored caramel. Very disappointed with this product.

If you want a truly delightful culinary experience, go for it without hesitation! Their sorbets are to die for! And it's a specialty found at some shops, where you can always find a smile despite the crowds.
