Given that it is a large bakery group, I think the emphasis is on quantity and not quality of service. It’s a shame, in addition this franchise benefits from a poorly exploited strategic location because the staff is not committed enough, not professional enough and not smiling enough. Ps: I can talk about it, because I also work in services welcoming the public internationally.

Among all the staff, Hind and Delia are the more pleasant and cheerful service staff. Other staff were rather rude and not service oriented at all. However, if you can look past that, the food is actually great. The raspberry tart is awesome on its own, and most of the mains are well done. The potatoes that come with the bacon burger are the best I had in France.

Great welcome. The waitress thought to ask me if I wanted a sugar before closing my cup of coffee, so that I didn't have to open my cup any further. THANKS

Fui ao Paul 1889 que fica no shopping Vale d'europe ; excelente comida e preço. Pedi uma salada pensando que era uma porção média, mas veio em um prato enorme.kkkkk pensa numa salada saborosa (maravilhosa) e minha esposa pediu um outro tipo de salada e também veio a mesma bendita quantidade.kkk. se fores ao shopping vale d'europe (que é o melhor shopping para comprar boas roupas de marca e qualidade por um preço excelente) não deixe de almoçar no Paul 1889. Você não irá se arrepender. Foi muito bom mesmo. Lembrando que ainda vem uma sobremesa e um cafezinho

31/03/2024: I remove 1 star for the "caramel pork" which is absolutely not caramelized, soaked in water with sugar and pork juice. This is the taste. You have changed everything from the caramelized pork which, moreover, is minced and really has no taste..too bad.. For the rest, caring staff and the other dishes are good
29/03/2024: We can't understand some of the very bad reviews; perhaps there are strong fluctuations depending on the time of day or who is in the kitchen. The ambience is functional, you are in a shopping area. The service was friendly and quick, everything was fine. The food was also delicious. Not a sensation, but good. Nothing was salty or overcooked. We liked the fact that you have to order the rice or pasta separately, so you can put together your own mini buffet.
