Visited recently on 11/14/25 Indeed, it's a small, dark, and rather disorganized dive. I've known this place for decades. But it also has a Scottish (or Irish) pub vibe where the people are friendly, and you hear English spoken very often. I've even gone there with my young daughters without any worries. The draft beer menu that day wasn't particularly British, but it was quite extensive.

01/05/2026: I'm a vegetarian and the staff are amazing! They made me a vegetarian sandwich that was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Taksim; the place is very clean, the food is excellent, and to top it all off, the staff are very friendly and professional. A thousand thanks to them!

10/06/2026: The food was fine and the order was ready quickly. Unfortunately, I got the impression that the staff were more preoccupied with each other than with the customers. When I wanted to warm up baby food, I was barely noticed. That is a shame, because with a bit more attention to the guests, the experience would be much better.
25/05/2026: Orders are generally well executed and the cones of hot and generous fries are served... but sometimes it gets very busy... and orders are rushed... but I have always been very well received!
