Location: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 2/5 A disappointment We ordered a mixed fish platter for two, priced at €86. The fish fillets, arranged on a bed of mussels, were served lukewarm and dry. Five minutes later, everything was cold. The other fish dishes arrived at the table barely warmer. The vegetable of the day, a ratatouille, must have been sitting on the ground for a few hours. Either it was a mass-produced product that had been reheated ten times, or the chef was tired… There were no real vegetarian options: the only choice was to ask for the scallops or ham to be removed from certain dishes. For dessert, the ice cream sundae was a pile of sorbets and sauces all mixed together, topped with a whipped cream that was as industrial and bland as it was voluminous. It was difficult, under these circumstances, to appreciate each flavor. The pistachio crème brûlée, on the other hand, was much better. In the end, the bill came to over €240 for four people. For that price, one has the right to expect significantly better. Only the service was up to scratch: very professional and attentive.

We were seated late for a table of eight. We all had an extremely good meal; it was delicious, generous, and fresh. The service was also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

📍 A decent family-friendly stop in Palavas-les-Flots — good if you're not fussy about seafood prep, less good if you're precise about it. 🍽️ Moules gratinées and linguine aux tellines à la crème: both very salty — this isn't a knock, it's genuinely how they're meant to taste (tellines are prized for that briny punch). Fair warning though — the tellines came with a fair amount of grit/sand still in them. Ate it anyway, but honestly you'd get fresher, cleaner results buying tellines at the fish market and cooking them yourself. Skip the Planteur Cocktail Sans Alcool — it's basically just orange juice at cocktail prices. 🪑 Casual, relaxed vibe. No reservation needed, no wait even at peak time. Kid-friendly and the staff are genuinely warm. 💡 Tips: walk-in friendly, good pick with kids in tow, but if you're picky about sand in shellfish, ask how the tellines are cleaned before ordering.

Simply put: go for it! From the friendly service at the reservation to dessert, a hard-working team, and above all, high-quality, expertly prepared products.
