A Bib Gourmand-recommended first experience with Vietnamese cuisine! While the restaurant is a bit cramped, the service was excellent, making for a very pleasant dining experience. Here are my food reviews: 1. Special Beef Pho: Highly recommended! The broth is fragrant and layered, perfectly balanced between not too sweet or too salty. The beef balls inside are delicious, and the portions of toppings and beef are very generous, making it very satisfying. 2. Vietnamese Spring Rolls (Raw Spring Rolls): These non-fried spring rolls have a unique dipping sauce. Besides fish sauce, it also includes crushed peanuts, making it incredibly fragrant. It would be even better if the sweetness of the sauce could be reduced slightly. Overall, this is a delicious restaurant I would definitely visit again!

Probably one of the best, if not the best, bowls of pho dac biet I’ve had in Paris. The broth is deeply rich, fragrant, and wonderfully balanced, topped with a generous assortment of beef cuts, tender brisket, and delightfully bouncy Vietnamese beef meatballs. The flavors are remarkably close to those you’d find in Vietnam—arguably even more refined—making it easy to forget you’re tucked away in the 13th arrondissement of Paris rather than sitting at a streetside eatery in Southeast Asia. If you’re in the neighborhood, this is a place well worth seeking out.

I've been there several times and each time I've been served super quickly, about 5 minutes. I don't think you can make a reservation, but customers don't stay long.

We went during a rainy, Tuesday afternoon right before closing at 2PM so it wasn't as busy as I was expecting for a Michelin star restaurant, but the food was good regardless! I took some points off service because they took a while to get to us despite it being empty and they never checked up on us after we received our order, so we had to go inside to pay. My partner got their Pho Dac Biet, which was a bit different than we are used to because we primarily get the Southern Vietnamese pho. I believe this restaurant is more traditional or leans towards Northern Vietnamese as the noodles were wide and flat as opposed to the round ones we're used to, and the broth was slightly sweet. The Bun Bo Hue was the best I've had!! It was very flavorful with a nice spicy kick without being overly oily, and it came with 3 pork hocks, which are my absolute favorite type of meat. Both soups were packed with meat but I'm not sure if it was because they were close to closing or if there was too much cold meat before they poured the hot broth in, but the bowl was lukewarm and the beef flank was only able to cook halfway (there was a bit of pink to it even after stuffing it under the noodles for 20 minutes).

A remarkable, intimate place with excellent cuisine. A true institution in the 13th arrondissement. The satay soup is incredible, a delight; with a little more mimila and lemon, it becomes magical. Chef M. Te is a delightful character, afflicted with the best restaurateur's affliction: good humor. He knows how to share his passion for cooking, a real character when he's in the dining room.

Le Jardin

15/07/2026: Really friendly staff with delicious food. (Okay, there aren't many photos because I was too lazy to get my phone out, but it was so good 😋😋)
01/05/2026: LE JARDIN 🇨🇳 📍 81 Rue de Crimée, 75019 Paris A Chinese restaurant serving traditional and authentic dishes from the Wenzhou region. If you're looking for authentic specialties in a festive atmosphere, this is the place to go. I've been a few times and stayed in one of the private rooms, which is perfect when you're with a group and might make a bit of noise. The quantity and quality of the dishes are excellent. We usually opted for one of the set menus offered by the restaurant, which consists of several large dishes to share 🍱 Personally, I really enjoyed the following dishes: - Scallops and vermicelli noodles - Pork and taro with pandan buns (very subtle flavor, I prefer it plain) - Lobster (hot, it's excellent) - Quail - Fried sticky rice

Villa Thai restaurant

18/07/2026: Food was tasty and freshly prepared. There are not many Thai restaurants in Paris so this is a good option. The prices were quite high but nothing too crazy. The portions could be a little bigger. The staff were all friendly and can speak both French and English. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a change to French food.
11/07/2026: Amazing traditional thai food! Good cathering. Will absolutely come back for my next Paris trip!
