Piadina sur Mulhouse

19/08/2026: Overall, a good experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant in Mulhouse. The building is quite attractive, overlooking a small courtyard, where, however, the entire waitstaff was smoking in full view of all the arriving customers. Normally, that's not ideal, but in a Michelin-starred establishment, it's unacceptable. Inside, the decor is beautiful and warm, with a calm atmosphere and well-set tables. The staff was charming from beginning to end, but there were many mistakes during service, including dishes being served that hadn't been ordered. The waitstaff is primarily young and should therefore be assisted by a chef, who was apparently absent (though these young people are, at least, charming!). As for the food, we ordered two Cortile menus at €128 each. Everything was excellent; the fish was melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked to perfection, as was the meat, which was remarkably tender. The tagliatelle with lobster and morels was quite stingy, neither with lobster nor morels. The dessert, while nicely presented, was very simple (the oranges weren't candied enough, in our opinion, as the overall impression was very bitter, and this bitterness lingered on the palate for quite some time). At €128 for a six-course menu, the price is quite reasonable, especially considering the quality of the meat and fish. The wines are good and affordable. Nevertheless, there are several areas for improvement; I'm not sure the star rating is truly representative. The atmosphere was also rather oppressive after leaving the restaurant in the evening, with some rather aggressive young people in the square.
