A very good restaurant just steps from the Centre Pompidou-Metz. The prices are a little high, but the dishes are filling and of good quality. The service is quite quick and pleasant, and there was hardly any wait on a Sunday lunchtime. I recommend it for lunch for two.

Excellent restaurant that I highly recommend!
The welcome is warm and the staff are friendly, helpful, and always ready to answer any questions you may have. The service was quick and always delivered with a smile.
As for the food, it's also very good. I ordered the goat cheese and spinach lasagna: the portion was generous, it was excellent value for money, and above all, it was delicious.
For dessert, I opted for the tiramisu. It was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and, most importantly, not overly rich in mascarpone.
I will gladly return to try new dishes!

A good restaurant, but a victim of its own success: reservations are essential on weekends, tables are very close together with no privacy, and it can get noisy if a group is celebrating a birthday. Personally, I prefer going during the week; it's much quieter. 😁👍

Very good restaurant, with fine cuisine and good service. On the other hand, I find it quite incredible that a restaurant of this quality does not even offer drinks as basic as a gin and tonic. 😬 It is really time to review the drink menu, which is frankly very disappointing. If you want to please your customers and increase your sales, a gin and tonic should be one of the simplest cocktails to offer! It is 2026, not 1972… 😂

It looks like a chain restaurant. The pasta is good, but no better than anywhere else. The location is excellent, but it lacks atmosphere.

First time at La Piopa: I'd always seen this restaurant from the outside while going to matches at the Arènes stadium, and I only recently had the chance to try it myself before catching a movie in the neighborhood. I had a chicken tartine, which was quite good and served on a generous plate with salad and fries. Special mention goes to the dessert I ordered, the Amarena cherry crème brûlée: a delight! The decor is also quite nice, it's clean, and the servers are very friendly and plentiful. I'll definitely go back and I recommend it!
