We went to the restaurant on Thursday evening. The food and prices were fine, however, the waitress's attitude left much to be desired. We were rushed to order in an empty restaurant, and we ended up choosing a dish without even reading the entire menu to avoid her coming back for a fourth time in 15 minutes. When it came time to choose dessert, we finished reading the menu and realized that our dishes corresponded to set menus also available that evening. So we chose one of the desserts offered to complete the set menu. Once we had finished our meal, we were given a price that didn't match our calculations. The waitress looked up when I asked for the bill to check. We realized that the dishes had been added to the à la carte menu and not as part of a set menu. To which the waitress replied in a rather unpleasant tone, "You should have said it was a set menu beforehand. My computer calculates everything automatically, so it's not working." The waitress refused to budge, claiming that the extra charge on Mr.'s pizza would have ruined the meal deal anyway. So, annoyed by the situation and the waitress's attitude, we ended up paying. She could have simply reordered. As we were leaving the restaurant, the waitress called out to us, "You'll have to remember to mention it's a set menu next time." Next time, it would be more professional to offer customers the menu or at least let us read it in its entirety. 😉 Given the response from your restaurant, it would have been better to say nothing at all. This response clearly demonstrates the establishment's mindset: as long as the customer pays, their experience isn't a priority. A real shame.

We came two days in a row and were not disappointed by the quality of the service or the food we enjoyed. For our second visit, we initially chose a restaurant right next door (PDF, I'll let you guess which one I'm talking about). However, after waiting a long time to be seated, no one came to see us for a good fifteen minutes, and we were therefore never served. Thank you to the Del Arte team for your hospitality.

Friendly welcome, fairly quick service, excellent pizzas, reasonable prices
