Pizza Del Teatro sur Mantes-La-Jolie

We just got back from an evening at their restaurant, and I didn't even want to wait until the next day to give it 5 stars. We had a wonderful meal. The place is full of charm. The staff is lovely and attentive. And a bonus for the incredible atmosphere, thanks to Leila and Karl. A truly delightful experience, thank you all. We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic, not a single flaw on any visit. The welcome, the atmosphere, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, the choice of dishes, the taste, the seasoning—everything is perfect! Nothing to complain about, a real pleasure, and the quality/price ratio is totally justified and fair.

Excellent service from both the staff and the owner (smiling and attentive). Very good pizzas. We will definitely return on our next trip to Mantes.

Between 2015 and 2019 (and probably even a little before, though I can't confirm this), this restaurant was very good, offering one of the best value-for-money options in town for around twenty euros per person, along with the Crêperie de l'Armor. Since 2022, I've been to this restaurant three or four times, and I've been disappointed each time. I don't know exactly what has changed (the cook, the manager...?), but the culinary standard has drastically declined, becoming relatively comparable to that of a delivery pizza place, while maintaining the old prices (increased by inflation, of course), which are at least twice as high. The food is still decent, and the atmosphere is pleasant enough for a family meal, but generally speaking, there are better alternatives in Mantes for the same price range if you're not set on eating pizza.

The scallops were good. The homemade mashed potatoes had a unique flavor. The salmon steak was actually quite good, the creamy orzo was just okay.

Excellent and impeccable service

Cocktail: Rosemary Main Course: Tagliatelle al sepia Dessert: Panna cotta with red berries I highly recommend it; everything was excellent. The octopus in the tagliatelle was perfectly cooked and delicious. I'll be back to try the pizzas!
