Pizza Express sur Aix-En-Provence

I discovered Pizza Aixpress, a pizzeria that's been open since 1991, thanks to an acquaintance. I usually always go to the same place for pizza, so I was a little hesitant. But I have absolutely no regrets! The pizzas were excellent, generously topped, and very tasty. Plus, the prices are really affordable: for two people, we ate very well without breaking the bank. The pizza chef is very friendly, funny, and creates a great atmosphere. As a bonus, he has excellent taste in music, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The pizzeria itself is also very attractive and welcoming. A fantastic find that I highly recommend!

A delicious pizza was delivered to my hotel within a reasonable timeframe. Thank you to the very polite and friendly delivery driver. The pizza arrived hot, which is rare. Thank you to the person who took the order.

Honestly, the pizzas are good, but I really don't understand the delivery system. I usually order through Deliveroo, and last time I called to ask if the driver could come up because I have a knee problem. The person told me no problem and advised me to call the number directly to avoid going through Deliveroo. This is the second time I've tried calling again, and I get a different person each time, to place my order, and they tell me they're reluctant to deliver to the center of Aix, especially for a pizza. What I don't understand is that if I pay through Deliveroo (more expensive for me and no profit for them), they'll deliver anyway. I don't understand why they refuse to deliver when I request it through their number, especially since that's what I was asked to do recently. Now that I know I can avoid paying as much by calling the number directly, but they no longer want to deliver, well, I'm not ordering from them anymore. That's very sad.
